Theo Flipsen, 
CEO

Theo Flipsen (40) holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry & Physics. He is the co-founder and CEO of InnoCore Technologies. He is also CEO of Polyvation, which he founded in 1996. Polyvation focuses on commercial R&D and Manufacturing in the field of polymers. In 1998 he started another company, Polyganics, which is committed to the development, manufacturing and sales of novel bioresorbable medical devices. He acted as CEO until 2003. Theo is the inventor of a number of new materials and applications thereof, which are covered by eight patents. 

Alfred van der Meer,  Director Business Development

Alfred van der Meer (46) brings 20 years of industrial experience to the company, of which over 13 years were spent in the medical industry. As technical manager he was involved in founding Blue Medical Devices BV and he held several other key positions (R&D, quality management, sales & marketing) at Occam International BV (Biosensors) and MCTec BV (a Merit Medical affiliate). In 2006, Alfred joined InnoCore as Director Business Development. He obtained his Masters degree in polymer science at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.

Rob Steendam,  Director Technology & Development

Rob Steendam (37) is co-founder and Director Technology & Development at InnoCore Technologies. Rob has more than 14 years experience in the biomedical/pharmaceutical field. He has played a key role in developing InnoCore's various biodegradable drug delivery technologies. Prior to joining InnoCore, he worked as Manager Product Development for Polyganics, where he was among others responsible for the pre-clinical R&D and clinical research relating to the company's bioresorbable nerve guide program and early stage research on biodegradable drug delivery systems. These activities formed the technological basis for InnoCore later on. Rob obtained his Ph.D. (pharmaceutical technology) and MSc (polymer chemistry) from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
