Senior Technician Analytical Method Development and Quality Control

Job description

As Senior Technician Analytical Method Development and Quality Control you will work in the analytical method development group. You will participate in project teams, work on development and validation of analytical methods and give analytical support for the development and manufacturing of our parenteral drug delivery products and drug eluting coronary stents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments for development of analytical methods for dissolution testing, content analysis, residual solvent analyses etc.
• Perform analyses of samples for formulation and process development, stability testing, validation and batch release
• Data analysis, reporting and presenting in (international) project team meetings
• Work according to standard operating procedures
• Technical support to solve chromatographic problems (troubleshooting)
• Maintenance and calibration of HPLC/UPLC/GC equipment

Profile

You have a pro-active attitude and strong communication and reporting skills. You are able to work in a team and independently. You work accurately, precisely and are familiar with standard operating procedures. Problem-solving in an industrial environment is one of your strengths. You like to work in the environment of a biotech company where quality, speed, motivation, team spirit and results are of utmost importance to be successful.

Background

You have a HLO/BSc degree in analytical chemistry or biochemistry and 3 to 8 years working experience, preferably in a biotech, pharma or food company. You are an expert in chromatographic techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, GC and HP-SEC and you have preferably experience with protein characterization techniques such as SDS Page and ELISA. Experience with quality systems such as GLP, GMP and ISO 17025 is highly preferred.
